Long-pressing an Instagram photo doesn’t let you save it, and screenshots lose resolution and add your status bar. Paste the post link here and you get the image file itself, at the size Instagram keeps (often 1080 × 1350 or 1080 × 1440).
If the post is an album, each photo shows up separately, so you can grab one or all of them.
How to download in three steps

Copy the link
In the Instagram app tap ••• or the share arrow on the post, then “Copy link”. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.

Paste it above
Drop the link into the box at the top of this page and press “Get media”.

Save the file
Press “Download” under each photo or video. Files arrive in your Downloads folder or Photos app.

Questions and answers
Are the photos full resolution?
Yes, we request the largest version Instagram has for the post, which is the one its own app shows on large screens.
What format are the photos?
JPG. It opens everywhere and keeps the file small without visible loss.
Is fastdl.now free?
Yes. There is no paid plan and no download limit beyond a short pause if a connection sends a burst of requests.
Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No, and you should never give your Instagram password to any downloader. fastdl.now only reads posts that anyone can already see without an account.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Private posts, close-friends content and posts Instagram hides from logged-out visitors are off limits by design.
Where does the file go on my iPhone?
Safari saves it to the Files app (Downloads). Open it there and use the share button → “Save Video” or “Save Image” to move it into Photos.
Do you keep copies of the videos?
No. Files stream from Instagram’s servers through ours straight to you. We don’t store media, and link lookups are cached for at most an hour.
Can I repost what I download?
Only if you own it or have the creator’s permission. Downloading for personal, offline viewing is one thing; republishing someone else’s work is another.

What we don’t do
Stories, highlights, profile pictures and private accounts need an Instagram login, so fastdl.now doesn’t offer them. We would rather say so than show a button that doesn’t work.
